Hence they can build their charisma and possess a more active role in the society.

The first conference was held in Dar es salaam and there after in Kenya, South Africa, Botswana and America. We still hope to touch many nations globally as well.

The 4th Tanzania Women Industrial Awards (2024)

The Tanzania Women's Chamber of Commerce (TWCC), with the support of Trade Mark East Africa

(TMEA), is currently implementing a program that aims to empower women entrepreneurs. The project

seeks to increase the value of trade by breaking down barriers that women face when participating in

trade activities, and also by improving the business environment for women traders in Tanzania.

Additionally, the program facilitates women's access to sustainable markets, both within and outside the

country. One of the strategies employed by the TWCC/TMEA is to recognize and reward women

entrepreneurs who have made significant strides in business as a result of the services rendered by

TWCC across the country and the impact of this project.
